Seasoned salt is a pantry classic — but most store-bought blends are heavy on salt, light on flavor, and full of anti-caking agents.
Our Garden Seasoned Salt changes that by combining mineral-rich sea salt, vibrant freeze-dried greens, fresh citrus zest powder, and a balanced mix of spices.
It’s bright, savory, and herbaceous — the perfect all-purpose seasoning for everyday cooking.

Garden Seasoned Salt Recipe (about 1 cup)
You’ll need:
- ¼ cup flaky or fine sea salt (non-iodized)
- 2 tbsp freeze-dried purslane powder
- 2 tbsp freeze-dried parsley powder
- 1 tbsp freeze-dried spinach powder
- 2 tsp Citrus Blend Powder (lemon, lime, orange zest powders)
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp paprika (sweet or smoked)
- 1 tsp ground black pepper
- ½ tsp turmeric (color & subtle warmth)
- ½ tsp sugar (balances salt & acidity)
- Optional: pinch of cayenne for gentle heat
Step 1 — Make Sure Everything is Crisp-Dry
If any of your powders have been stored for a while, check for softness.
If needed, re-dry them in a dehydrator or freeze dryer before blending to avoid clumping.
Step 2 — Blend Gently
- In a mixing bowl, combine all ingredients.
- Whisk gently until fully combined — avoid crushing salt flakes if you want a textured blend.
Step 3 — Store & Enjoy
- Store in an airtight glass jar, away from sunlight.
- Best flavor within 4–6 months.
- For gifting, use clear jars so the green and golden flecks show — they’re part of the charm.

Ways to Use Garden Seasoned Salt:
- Sprinkle over roasted vegetables (especially root veggies and squash).
- Use on chicken, fish, or tofu before cooking.
- Mix into salad dressings or dips for a green, citrusy lift.
- Sprinkle over baked potatoes or avocado toast.
- Add to scrambled eggs or omelets.
